History of Iranian Lead and Zinc Production and Development Company

Iranian Lead and Zinc Production and Development Company (Public Joint Stock) was registered on December 13, 2009, under registration number 10582 and national ID 10320128841 at the Zanjan Companies and Industrial Property Registration Office.
Based on the operating license issued by the Ministry of Industry, Mine, and Trade, the lead and zinc concentrate production plant was established in Eijrood County, Zarrinabad City, at kilometer 46 of the Zanjan-Bijar road, in Zanjan Province.

The plant’s annual production capacity is 255,000 tonnes of zinc concentrate and 25,000 tonnes of lead concentrate.
Established in 2013, the plant commenced operations with a team of 50 employees, including skilled engineers, specialists, and experienced personnel.

Production Activities

The production process at Iranian Lead and Zinc Production and Development Company ( Publicly Held Co.)for all products includes primary crushing, secondary crushing, flotation, filtration, and product storage stages. All machinery and equipment in these stages are designed to process a wide range of mineral types, including lead oxide and lead sulfide ores, zinc oxide and zinc sulfide ores, copper, iron, and others. Currently, the flotation process of lead oxide ore, lead sulfide ore, zinc oxide ore, and zinc sulfide ore is carried out to produce various types of lead oxide and sulfide concentrates, as well as zinc oxide and sulfide concentrates, achieving the highest possible efficiency and lowest energy costs, while utilizing the latest processing technologies, equipment, and machinery. This process is carried out by a team of young, highly skilled, and experienced professionals. Throughout the production process, all safety and health standards are rigorously observed, and no industrial wastewater or harmful pollutants are generated.
The mentioned flotation process, which constitutes the primary production stage, involves inducing physical and chemical modifications to the surface of the target minerals using a variety of reagents, including activators, depressants, collectors, and frothers. It also leverages the behavior of minerals in both gaseous and liquid environments, as well as differences in the wettability properties of the minerals.
In the flotation process of the mentioned minerals, using chemicals specific to each mineral allows achieving a high-quality concentrates.
